    REDI’s dry hire service provides immediate access to reliable and site-ready equipment, complete with comprehensive health and safety records, prestarts, and service history for compliance.
  • What does the REDI site compliance sticker mean?
    All REDI earthmoving gear is site compliant before being sent to site. This means all machines undergo rigorous inspections and assessments by our workshop team to ensure compliance with current regulations. Additionally we ensure that each machine is equipped with all the necessary safety equipment.
  • Do we offer stand-down services for your equipment?
    Yes, we offer 100% stand-down for wet weather and 50% for non-utilization. Please note that we have a minimum chargeable period of 15 full days per month, pro rata. All equipment is to be properly stored and maintained during the periods.
  • What is our minimum term hire?
    Our minimum term hire is one day for equipment and two days for attachments. We understand the importance of flexibility in rental periods, and we offer options to suit your project timelines. Whether you need equipment for a single day, a week, or an extended period, our team will collaborate with you to determine the optimal rental solution that aligns with your specific project needs.
  • Do you organise transport of the equipment?
    Yes, we provide transport services for the equipment. We can arrange the delivery and pickup of the equipment to and from your specified location. Our team will ensure that the equipment is transported safely and efficiently, saving you time and effort in logistics.
  • Does the machine come fueled up?
    Yes, all machines are delivered with a full tank of fuel. We kindly request that when you return the machine, it is also refuelled to its original level. If you prefer, we do provide a refuelling service at an additional cost for your convenience.
  • Do you need your own insurance to dry hire equipment?
    While it is recommended that you have your own insurance to cover for hired-in plant equipment, we do offer limited liability cover at an additional cost. This provides some level of protection during the dry hire period. However, we advise consulting with your insurance provider to ensure you have adequate coverage for the equipment during the hire period.
  • Do you have an hour limit on the equipment?
    Yes, we have a limit of 8 hours per day for equipment usage. However, if you require extended hours of operation, we can make prior arrangements to accommodate your needs. Please note that additional hours beyond the limit will incur an extra cost. Our team will work with you to discuss and arrange any necessary adjustments to suit your project requirements.
  • What are your payment options?
    We provide flexible payment options to ensure convenience for our customers. Our standard accounts offer a 30-day payment term. However, we understand that different situations may require tailored payment arrangements. Our administration team will be happy to discuss and accommodate your specific payment preferences to the best of our ability.
